June? how did that happen?

I don’t even know where to start. First off, I got a nasty case of food poisoning. Not the flu- it was food poisoning and yes my gut is sure. Still not eating much outside the basic bread group… but my massive headache is gone and I’m hydrated. I can promise you that I was REALLY sick, because anyone who knows me will tell you that I’d do just about anything befor volunteering to go in for an IV. The fact that I was WANTING the IV of fluids really freaked me out. My fear of needles trumps all but severe health… so yeah. I was in a bad way.

Ok- so last 3 or 4 days or something have been a blur. On couch. in bed. sitting. sleeping. sipping clear fluids SLOWLY and eating a cracker every 30min or so. Yesterday my brain started waking back up, but today it’s WIDE awake and wanting to play. To prevent such madness I’ve chained myself + juice + laptop to sofa for e-mail catch up. Keeps body still but brain busy. good plan.

I wish I could tell you I have fabulous blog posts just waiting… but I don’t. I did read the most awesome, gut busting book yesterday- more on that another time. Gotta give her a full post. In the meantime- if you check out the B.P.S. Blog they did a teacher feature on me. http://bigpicturescrapbooking.typepad.com/scrap_big/2008/06/teacher-feature.html

If you’re already in the kit class- I hope you’re having FUN!! I have so many cool things to reveal and prizes to give… can’t wait! 🙂

  3. I’m so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I’m with you May…I HATE needles & I think the IV has to be the worst. Like why do they have to stick that needle right into the hand. I always forewarn them that they just might get kicked! lol

What a nice feature about you on BPS. I’m in the class & am enjoying all the fun & creativity. I’ve just finished my first 2 pager and now have to post it.

Take care & so glad that your getting better.

  4. I’m glad you are feeling better. I’m surprised you are even back this early.

I was hospitilized for 5 days with food posining. I don’t think there was a drop of fluid left in me. I lost about 10 pounds in that week. I remember the pain being unreal. Then for about 6 months I had no desire to eat. And to this day I can pass a Chinese resturant with no problems.

Please get your strenght back and take care of YOU. Your family depends on you.
