There simply must be some mistake.

This can not be possible.

there must be some mistake.

I must check my records.

How, oh how, is it possible that I’ve married a man who has NEVER seen ANY of the Indiana Jones movies? I didn’t know it was possible for a man born in the 70’s in the USA to not have seen them. Seriously. How? Also, how is it that I never knew? He never said anything the 30+ times we’ve ridden the (awesome) Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. How did that experience not make him run home and watch my DVD’s?

One of life’s mysteries I suppose. In addition to this rude awakening I am also going to have to start paying more attention to pop culture I guess. It was only last week, when I was watching my taped Saturday Night Live that I even knew a new movie was coming out. While I go and ponder what else I don’t know about my husband I leave you with this. Maybe the best theme song EVER, and one heck of a fun song to play in band. yes, I was in the school band. and I never got tired of this song. or the Indiana movies. In fact, I think I’m going to watch them tonight and scrapbook. These movies rule.

  1. We have seen them so many times I think I have them memorized. I’m a HUGE Harrison Ford fan. Air Force one is one of my all time favs. But there are so many of his I love.

  2. Never ever seen the Indiana Jones movies that is just so funny. . . where was he? Has he seen Star Wars? If nothing else you two have some catching up to do!

  4. That’s just crazy talk! lol! One of my sons and I DVR’d them and we’ve been watching them to prepare to see the 4th. They’re still awesome! Though I will say the second one was my least fave.

Hope you had fun scrapping and watching!

  5. That fact alone would probably be grounds for an annullment in several states!! LOL But I know what you mean, my DH is like that with movies and music..

  6. I’m not sure that I’ve seen and Indiana Jones movie all the way through ! BUT… I love Harrison Ford!! ..

  7. Well you are ahead of me May! I just found out about the new Indiana Jones movie on the radio this morning!

  8. OMG!!! I can’t believe that. I think you need to go and sit him in front of the tv and have him watch all three of them. I just watched them all this weekend and I can’t wait to see the new movie. DH has already said he is taking me in a couple of weeks.

I was in band AND choir. Does that make it worse for me 😉

  9. WHAT!?!??! How can he not have watched Indiana Jones, we tivo’d it for Dominic so he can watch it.. He watched them on USA or something and I tivo’d it so we can FF thru commercials.. he loves it…

Dominic, the hub and I are stoked and cant wait to see it in theatres…lol.

WOW. has he at least seen the star wars movies?!?!?lol..

  10. May, we are kindred spirits ~ I watched The Last Crusade with my family last night and was reminiscing about playing the theme song in band! I will be going to watch the new movie with a friend at the first midnight showing available. We can’t wait!

  11. Never seen Indiana Jone’s movies? How is that possible? I’ve seen them all & loved the Disney show that they had when we were there in the early 90’s. Even have some poor quality pics to show for it. lol

  12. Well, we have something in common…my guy hasn’t seen any of them either. No Indy. No Star Wars. After all these years. I’m still shaking my head in disbelief.

  13. I’ll have to join your husband in the haven’t-seen-any-Indiana-Jones-anything club. I was never into action flicks, and I’ve heard so many references to it in pop culture, I feel like I’ve got the gyst of what happens (he hates snakes, a big boulder chases him after he trades a bag of change for a statue of some kind, jeeps abound, etc.) so I haven’t taken the time to actually watch any of them. So they’re that good? Really? Keep in mind that I loathe all the Star Wars movies. Should I really see it?
