no rules, just happy crafting

Crate Paper has been a favorite of mine especially in recent releases, and with new lines that I really liked (and a super cute booth!) they continue to impress me.

Be enchanted by the delicate and endearing beauty of Polka Dot Party. Charming graphics highlight the sophisticated femininity of the collection: butterflies, polka dots, chevron, hearts, and handwritten sentiments are presented in hues of pink, mint, gray and yellow. Join the fun of Polka Dot Party!
This collection includes 21 double-sided patterned papers and three specialty papers. Eight sheets of Thickers in various colors and finishes coordinate wonderfully with the sticker sheets, die-cut frames, and other embellishments. Previous favorites, including large tags, die-cut cards and fabric bows are joined by new items: fringe flowers, ribbon photo corners and two pattern brayer sets for quickly adding fun patterns on paper.

At the last show, Pebbles had one of the most fun booths and at this show they did not disappoint. A Halloween party on one side, loads of soft colors and lovely inspiration on the other made this booth one I had to linger in a while.
Elle’s Studio has long been a favorite of mine for journaling tags and now they’ve got more than ever and beautiful patterned papers as well. Check out some pics I got of their booth…
Brenda Walton has been designing beautiful paper crafting lines for quite a while with K&Co, and now she has expanded into die cuts with Sizzix – a partnership I am very excited about! I was surprised (and totally delighted!) to come around the corner and find Brenda herself in the booth (she’s on the right) – and what a display she had set up! I wanted to pour a cup of tea, have some cucumber sandwiches and scones, and just move in.

Brenda herself was so kind and wonderful to speak with – and I can hardly wait for April to come around because that is when her line “favorite things” is estimated to ship to retailers. Truly the photos will speak for themselves –
