Ranger has a new release of Letter It goodies – and I’m in love! I’ve been a long time fan of both Perfect Pearls and Archival Ink so I got some of these new lovelies out to play today – and I had a blast!
Scrapbook.com (affiliate link) has the whole Letter It line including all these goodies I’m using – so if you’re looking for anything used here you can find it all right here.
Perfect Pearls powders are a lot of fun to play with – the key being to use a bit of perfect medium (or other medium known to work well!) to give them something to stick to. I used the Perfect Medium over a stencil then went wild with the powders, tapping away…
LOVE this look! I love that purple is created, and I love how sparkly it is in person. One thing I’m really liking about Letter It by Ranger Ink is that it’s bringing in long time favorites such as Perfect Pearls, and giving me small containers, tiny ink pads, and overall simply more portable versions of my faves!
Speaking of faves – next up for this card was to stamp the sentiment on another piece of paper, tear it, and adhere it with foam tape.
Why foam tape? So that I could create a bit of a lift to tuck buttons & sequins into!
Just add some adhesive, buttons, beads, and whatever else you like! I always like to finish a card like this with Stickles.
Once you’re done – that’s it! I love how simple this was to make, and yet so full of fun and techniques.
As I mentioned before you can find this whole line at Scrapbook.com as well as other retailers. Everything I used except the glue and buttons are from the Letter It line – love that! I’m really a fan of this stencil and I can’t wait to use it again in the near future.
What will you create this weekend?
I’m new to Perfect Pearls so when you say to use a medium, what are other examples besides Perfect Medium(which I’m assuming is made by same company as Perfect Pearls.) Pretty card!
This is so pretty May! You reminded me to look for my Perfect Pearls!
I always forget I have Perfect Pearls until I read one of you posts! Have to check to see if I have any Perfect medium.
A while back you posted about working with kits and making your own. having hip replacement surgery this Monday. My mobility will be quite limited for a while so I decided to give it a try. Started with an Anna Griffin Halloween card kit and than started picking out stuff that would make the cards more me. (Mostly Tim stuff of course) Gave it a try tonight and finished 1 1/2 cards. It was very liberating. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
