That title is a mouthful, isn’t it?! We’ve already seen Tim Holtz for Sizzix in an earlier post, now it’s time to look around the booth at some of the great lines releasing over the next few months.
French General is up first, and their dies will allow you to create some nifty little boxes, decorations, and more.
Their sweet little shelves of project samples were precious – I just wish it had been easier to photograph!
Here you see a few of the “XL” Bigz dies…
Oh and some lovely texture folders…
more XL…
and thinlits. I wish this basket one was a regular die – I’d like to do chipboard baskets!
Around the corner was Eileen Hull, who tapped into the vintage trailer trend!
I am really over the “keep calm” over saturation/over use… but this is just too cute. She’s also got two different trailer dies.
I would get this one – and that banner one.
My reasoning is that I think it would be more useful than the extra cash for making dimensional trailers. Although cute, I don’t see myself being able to justify use and it seemed like it would be REALLY hard to make one that looks good and stays together well.
Oh – I love the idea it is so cute! I just am thinking this is one of those “admire but don’t buy” items for me.
But that darn texture folder will have to come home. Check it out here in action –
From trailers to home – next I’m peeking at the “Where Women Cook” line.
Ok, a quick peek. The thing I like here is the opening up of possibilities for the party DIYers out there who might begin dabbling with sizzix for favors, baked good boxes, and more! Love the cake pop boxes.
From cakes now to flowers – last but not least I peek at Brenda Walton.
Lots of birds and florals to be sure – I love seeing what she’ll come up with!
I can’t figure out how I would use the trophy die, but isn’t it cute?
LOVE this large rosette… this comes home with me!
My favorite though – this bird.
While Sizzix didn’t wow me this time with outrageously awesome and photogenic displays (see this Brenda and this tim post from last year!) – the products are great and they continue to expand their brand with a diverse group of designers. Sizzix has come away from the clip art looking dies we used to have for customers to borrow in our local scrapbook store!
Oh My so much you have seen so so much new stuff!
Although a manual die cut machine is on my list to save for, a long way off, I can only see myself right now using it for embossing folders, and the thin dies to make my own embellishments. I’m not the party type with the boxes and such, but everything is so pretty and nice. Thanks for showing us. Michelle t
I love the little trailers but it is something to only admire since I don’t camp. I LOVE the “Keep Calm and Travel On” floor sample I hope they post how it was done on the Sizzix site. Love the Grungy look
I love the French General stuff! And it seems like everyone has tapped into the party market.
