Simon Says: an ode to sunshine challenge

This week at Simon Says Stamp our Monday challenge is all about an ode to sunshine! I decided to make a summer page for my entry.

I had so much fun coloring with dylusions markers, using the stencil, and layering up ink and color for a simple page.

  1. Sweet photo and love how you pulled the colors to the fun inky circles. Beautiful layout!

  2. Really cute layout, May. Love the cream background then the bright polka dots from the stenciling. Lo e the leaves and the bottom Dyan border, too. The black stamping really pops. The Dyan flowers are also such a cute embellishment. Hugs, Candy

  3. I love this layout. It doesn’t over take the photo and the added dimension with the flowers makes the photo pop.

  4. Lovely layout May, the photo is adorable, I love your daughters sunshine costume and the echoed sunshine dots in the backdrop. The dots are gorgeous and very effective clustered together . Great blend of colours too. Tracy x

  5. This is such a lovely layout, May. The background colors and patterns are awesome! Love the cute photo of your sweet daughter, too. 🙂

  6. So creative! I love the layers of color that you built with the stencil. So rich and vibrant! And I fell in love with the GLITTER frame! (Yes, I can spot glitter from a mile away!) It’s a lovely touch for an artistic summer layout.

  7. What an adorable layout and picture! I just love the bright splashes of color…and with Dyan’s stamps & stencils? = TOO. MUCH. FUN. 😉
