I am so delighted by the new Disney designs for the ScanNCut – they’re so fun to work with! Today I’ve created a shaker ornament featuring Mickey Mouse.
disclaimer- as I always let you know I am a paid consultant for Brother. The ScanNCut is a machine I use, love, and all ideas, opinions, and thoughts shared here are my own.
To make a project like mine you’ll need a clear ornament, red vinyl, and a mix of sequins and beads. Some ribbon and a button to tie up the top is optional. Here is my (so quick and easy!) video tutorial.
I like to fill the ornament 1/3 – 1/2 full. A mix of colors and sizes is also preferred so that it’s extra cool. These are so much fun to make – and you could do this in any color or theme!
This Mickey design is the perfect size for this, but there are a lot of other fun designs to consider too! I’ll be sharing a snowflake design (free Canvas online file!) ornament soon. This will make the perfect little gift for the holidays, a gift topper, or for my own tree! I have so much fun creating quick and easy holiday crafts – this definitely qualifies.
If you’re looking for these new Disney files – they’re only available through authorized Brother retailers. You can search locally, or go online and do a search I believe a few stores will ship to you or have online shops too.
May that is so cute. I am making some of these. Thank you for the tutorial.
That is adorable!
Cute idea.
Just love that!!
