Thanks for all the kind comments on my previous post – much appreciated!
Today I’ve got two video tutorials to share with you. Note that affiliate links are used in this post – and thank you in advance should you choose to use them they support this blog! No charge/extra anything if you do either. I just disclose it here to be upfront.
So first of all let me tell you that this was my first time EVER using Ice Resin! I’ve had it a while, and was pretty anxious about how it might work out. The big thing learned was that it can not be COOOOLD in your studio or the tiny bubbles will stay. (oh well, still love my results!) so without further ado first up is my pendant:
Love how that came out – and continuing to work with my paws & pets kit (available in stores now- including Ellen Hutson) I decided to get absolutely CRAZY and put hot glue on a glass lid to create a makeshift mold… and guess what? IT WORKED. Crazy! Here’s a link to that tutorial.
Here’s a photo of my finished jar – I absolutely love it!
Looking for what I used here? Ice Resin is available in stores including Ellen Hutson and Simon Says Stamp. I will be back with more tutorials in the future for sure – 28 Lilac Lane + Ice Resin is a match made in heaven!
Beautiful projects, May! Loved seeing it. Hope your recovery is going well. Michelle t
They’re both so cute! I wonder if the treat jar ever made it to the friend, or if you kept it for the adorable embellishments?
Love those May!
I hope your recovery is going well – slow and steady so it’s a full recovery.
I got my box of 28 Lilac Lane goodies from Ellen Hutson yesterday! So excited – 3 kits and 4 bottles!
