When I make cards and tags, often I don’t have any big plans for what I’ll do with them. Instead of worrying about that, I let the creative good times roll and I store them. Some end up being given away randomly, and others find their way onto their perfect gift eventually. The great thing about doing things this way is that I create when I’m in the mood, and have tags and cards ready to go when I’m in need!
There are all kinds of ways to incorporate these items – but it boils down to “adhere to top of package” really. You can layer, let it be solo, tie through ribbon – anything you like.
One of my favorite things is to use a card front – or full card – and place it on a doily or if the package is small just place it straight onto the package. Don’t want to hide any part of the card design? Tie ribbon around the package under the card!
Adding a bit of homemade love to my packages is so much fun, but it also really gives a little something extra to the people I send gifts to.
I hope you’re having some creative fun – even during this very busy time of year. I know I am! Before I go today, I want to remind you too that if you’re looking for some new supplies be sure to visit Camp Scrap sponsor Simon Says Stamp for a great selection!

so pretty! i just got my hands on some pink paisley city sidewalks and I love that red paper with the Santa!
It’s really amazing the difference a handmade tag can make on a package.
Nice package decorations!
Love that tag. That piece of Pink Paislee is so cool.
