Last night I was playing with paper + my favorite stamp of the moment from Hero Arts + distress stains. I had a great time, and I am sharing images + a how-to video with you today.
I seriously ADORE the word pops stamp. SO many uses!! Ok, so the key to this kind of resist is to put the lighter or easier to cover over color first. [there’s more to it than that of course… see video below]
My pumpkin is NOT perfect – but I like the general idea and I’ll keep on working with cutting bits and pieces to make a layered look I do love. I just had fun rocking the old school circle punch. Gotta love tools that don’t go out of style!
Here’s the video how-to:

and here is a list of supplies used. Note – you can use spiced marmalade OR wild honey. Both work great.
Happy Crafting!
Beautiful!
Love this tag May and have a great weekend!
I LOVE everything about your tag. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed your video tutorial too.
May- I love this tag!! This is one idea I will be using on a fall mini I’m working on. I LVE your videos! Thanks fr the inpiration. Have a Blessed weekend, Dawn
Love this idea! Great tag.
That is so cool, thanks May. I think that stamp is on my wish list now!!!
Very nice! Full of inspiration! Thank you!
Great video! I’ve only just started my distress stain collection and of course don’t have those colors. I’m guessing my distress pads would work only they wouldn’t be as “juicy” on the tag if you get what I mean. Guess I should experiment! Thanks for sharing
Just add a sprinkle of water! 🙂 will totally work.
That is super cute, love the 3-d effect.
Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant! I love your pumpkin. Now I just have to remember to use it on something. I have 4 birthday cards and an anniversary card to make today so it has been great watching your technique videos. Thank you for sharing.
