Then, it was December.

It’s been a roller coaster of a week folks.

#1: THANK YOU for the amazingly kind and uplifting comments. You have no idea how much they have meant, and how much I needed them. Because…

#2: I usually keep super personal stuff off of my blog but I need to share this just a bit so you understand why things might be a bit quiet around here. Long story short, if you have  severe pain on your right side (in front) just at your rib line? SO bad you can’t lay down or get comfortable and it’s like being stabbed? Maybe get that checked out. You might have a very upset gallbladder and need surgery ASAP like I do.

#3: Keep calm and make merry. LET GO and delegate. This is my mantra right now. Just… delegating the heck out of a lot of stuff and letting go of a load of things as well. (see #2 for reason). I really, really REALLY would like to a) race around getting stuff done and b) pretend all is well and I don’t need to chill… but I’m not an idiot. I need rest, and rest, and to remain CALM so my “not yet emergency” status doesn’t change to a late night trip back to the ER. *takes deep breath*

#4: Enjoy some silly youtube videos. All this resting time has me caught up on the modern adaptation of Emma (done by same people who did P&P earlier this year). Super cute – check it out here.

#5: Be sure to keep an eye on the www.simonsaysstampblog.com this week. They just announced they now have their own cardstocks + inks (amazing!), the Monday challenge blog is gonna rock (though I’m likely to sit this week out – see #2), and I’ll be guesting on Friday with some fun & quick ideas too.

Now I’m back to bed to sip water and eat absolutely nothing exciting. I hope to be back posting again asap, but I know you understand if it gets quiet here for a few days – the time I had set aside to “make more blog posts and get ahead” was instead “hang out in hospital ER on black Friday”.  Expect the unexpected, apparently.

Hope your weekend was much less dramatic!
