week 1 of 2011

Oh what a week it’s been!! The first full week of the new year, and what a doozy. I shamefully admit that we’ve been excited for season 3 of Jersey Shore to start (who’s the most fake? Who has best tan? Drama! Insanity! More fake ness!!!), and it did not disappoint. Other big news this week – Jason is having surgery (elbow tendon – long standing injury that is FINALLY approved by work comp!!! Long story…) tomorrow, so I’ve been busier than usual getting things all set up here at home since tomorrow is going to be wild.

I’ve also been a busy girl making sample projects for CHA. I can’t show you even a peek (top secret stuff!) but I can tell you this: I’ll be posting LOADS of images, some how-to, and more once I’m allowed to. So you’ll see all… soon… ish.

Right now though – I DO have a favor to ask! I’m looking for some new blogs to add to my reading, so if you blog I’d love to know! Leave it in a comment below. Also: I’m working on updating and adding linkage back into my side bar here on the ‘ol blog. I took it all down last year (in effort to organize/fix…) but never put back up. I’m working on that too.

So please do share your blog(s) with me in comments if you’d like a new reader!

Happy almost weekend…

  4. Darn, I wish I had a blog for you to follow. I have thought about it from time to time, but what would I write? Plus there are so many blogs.

Hope his surgery, recovery and rehab go well.

  5. I do have a blog but its not very exciting! I do love reading yours though. Happy new year! I can’t wait for those CHA projects!

As well, I have a friend named Lisa and she is very creative and is one of my go to blogs when I need some inspiration. She recently posted about how she wants to start doing things (creating classes) on the things she enjoys, rather than what she thinks others would enjoy. It really reminded me of the posts you shared last Spring about how your scrapbooking evolved. I think you would enjoy reading her blog as well!

I hope you have a great weekend and that your hubby is feeling okay!

  7. Hi May, I am just in the process of getting a Blog up and running, but I have just come to yours from your article about your Iphone Camera at Scrapbook Update. I can’t believe how busy you are and yet still manage to run a home and look after your Family. I think you must be a Superwoman. I get tired just thinking of all you do. Anyway I am very much looking forward to reading your Blog. Wishing you all the Best for CHA
    Kind Regards,
    Bev……

  8. OK, now I feel guilty. Have thought so many times about updating my blog. Had started last year thinking I’d do daily entries and ended up Dec. with only one. So, adding a resolution to my list! As always, love to visit YOUR blog.
