Supplies Used:

I did some stenciling for my background – if you’re in Camp Scrap then you can see the process more exactly as it was in our first “video chat”!

I colored my lady, dyed my doily with distress, then added a few bits and pieces!

I love the results – and I hope you do too! Love the thoughtful look on her face and next I will try to add a body onto one of these faces for a mixed media piece. It may take some practice!

  1. Am also obsessed with these faces, but so far only looking not playing… this is another temptation to buying! Gorgeous tag – love the sequin detailing, and she looks beautiful against the orange doily with feathers in her hair!

  2. Lovely tag May, I love the face image set against the pop of orange from the doily. Tracy x

  3. Love this one because my favorite color is orange. The buttons add just the right touch.

  4. Does the SSS challenge project entry have to be a human face? I’m not all that enthused by humans and would prefer to make my project about a canine face, if that’s allowed.

I am, however, going to shamelessly lift your tag design and colour scheme for one of my Stashbuster’s Summer “Squeeze” kit projects. It’s just perfect!

  5. I absolutely love this tag! The colors are gorgeous and I would’ve never thought to use an orange doily! I also like how you combined so many fun elements to give it that whimsical look, yet it is also very modern and sophisticated. Really stunning!

  6. I adore your beautiful tag, May ~ the colours are just so vibrant and the face image looks wonderful against the striking background. I love it!

  7. Beautiful tag May! The layered background is so pretty with the different circles. I too love this stamp set and have already used it quite a few times.

  8. Love her serene countenance and how you have embellished her hair! Lovely tag!
